Enterprise & security

Built to pass your security review

The screens are friendly. Underneath them sits single sign-on, permissions down to the individual button, an audit record of every action, and an API that covers everything the screens can do — the parts your IT team will ask about first.

The four questions IT asks first

Identity, permissions, compliance and language support, all answered in software that ships today rather than on a roadmap.

Enterprise sign-in

OIDC and SAML 2.0 single sign-on with SCIM provisioning. Run multiple identity providers side by side, map IdP groups to YardHelm roles, and flip on enforced SSO when you are ready — local accounts work fine until then.

Role-based permissions

Permissions operate at the level of individual buttons, not vague admin-versus-user tiers. Six seeded roles cover a working yard on day one, every role is editable permission by permission, and users are disabled rather than deleted, so history stays intact.

SOC 2-ready posture

Every action lands in a full audit trail. Evidence exports are one click: an access-review CSV and a 90-day audit-log CSV. Retention policies are set per data type, because plate reads and GPS pings are personal data, and API keys are scoped and shown exactly once.

Six languages

The yard crew, the drivers and the public booking portal each work in their own language — including right-to-left Arabic that flips the entire interface. Each person's choice sticks to their own device.

API-first

The full product, available over the API

YardHelm was built API-first, and the web app is just another client. Your integrations get the same access your team has on screen.

230+ documented endpoints across the platform

Every module — gate, yard, docks, detention, reefers, fleet — is covered by a documented API. Anything your team can do on screen, your integrations can do too.

  • A full API reference comes with your workspace, so your developers can see every capability up front.
  • Scoped API keys carry exactly the permissions you choose for them, nothing more.
  • Keys are shown once, revocable at any time, and every call they make lands in the audit trail.

Data out

Built to feed your other systems

Yard events push to your other systems the moment they happen, reports run on a schedule, and BI tools pull from stable feed URLs. Nobody exports anything by hand.

~60 webhook events

Check-ins, bookings, detention alerts, reefer excursions, camera reads — pushed to any URL the moment they happen. Deliveries are HMAC-signed and retried automatically, with a per-hook delivery log and a test button.

Scheduled reports

Sixteen canned reports — carrier scorecards, dwell, no-shows, detention dollars — plus anything you save yourself. Schedule any of them daily, weekly or monthly and they arrive by email or webhook.

BI feed URLs

Every saved report gets a stable CSV or JSON URL that drops straight into Power BI, Google Sheets or any BI tool — authenticated with a scoped API key and refreshed on every pull, with no copy-paste in between.

Delivery

Delivered as a service

There's nothing to install or maintain. Your team signs in from a browser, and the API, scheduled exports and BI feeds keep your data within reach from day one.

Your workspace is ready on day one

A YardHelm workspace arrives ready to configure. Yard layout, roles and money rules are guided first-day settings rather than a project plan, and if you ever decide to leave, getting your data out doesn't take a support ticket — the API, report exports and BI feeds already cover it.

  • Sign in from any modern browser; drivers use a public web page, the field crew a standard mobile app.
  • Your identity provider stays in charge — OIDC/SAML sign-on and SCIM provisioning from day one.
  • Every record reachable over the documented API, scheduled report exports, and BI feeds your analysts own.

Your workspace opens with a practice yard, so the team learns safely before anything is real.

Shape it

Guided first-day settings: yard layout, roles, detention rules, alert thresholds.

Own your data

Webhooks, BI feeds and full report exports run from day one, so your data is never stuck inside YardHelm.

Put it in front of your security team

Everything on this page can be checked in the live demo — the audit trail, the permission list and the export tools are all open to inspect. When your team wants more detail, the guided tours walk through every screen.
